In the United States last week, half of the new cases and hospitalizations with COVID-19 are concentrated in the seven states with the fewest vaccinated, the White House quoted Reuters as saying.

These are the states of Florida, Texas, Missouri, Arkansas, Louisiana and Mississippi, said the coordinator of the response to the White House pandemic, Jeff Zienz.

Of these, nearly a third of new coronavirus cases are concentrated in Florida and Texas, and this is the majority of those hospitalized in the country.
