The fake news article about vaccines was the most read on Facebook in the United States in the first 6 months of 2021.
According to a report on the social network published in the New York Times, the article was later amended.
Thus, compelling medical evidence from the U.S. health authorities was included.
The list of most read content also includes a page that is often accused of spreading conspiracy theories.
