A US Navy helicopter crashed in the Pacific coast off the coast of California. According to BTA, one crew member out of five was rescued.
The helicopter, based on the Abraham Lincoln aircraft carrier, was on a “normal flight” near San Diego, just over a hundred yards from shore, when it crashed.
“Rescue and search operations are conducted using numerous air and naval vehicles deployed by the Coast Guard and Navy,” the US Navy said in a statement.
