The publication Papermag recently released sensational news, according to their information, Britney Spears and Prince William allegedly once had a relationship.
According to the newspaper, royal biographer Christopher Andersen claims in his new book, Brothers And Wives: Inside The Private Lives of William, Kate, Harry and Meghan, that the Duke Cambridge once had a “cyber relationship” with a pop icon. According to him, this happened even before meeting Kate Middleton in 2003, when they were students at the University of St. Andrews.
“William and Spears tried to get together when they were young,” he told the tabloid before also claiming that William had a similar online relationship with model Lauren Bush, George W. Bush’s niece.
The niece of the ex-president of the United States communicated with Prince William via correspondence on the Internet, and they even met several times.
As for Britney Spears, Christopher Anderson said the relationship was never serious, adding that while “there may have been phone calls,” he “did not remember them ever actually getting together during that period.”
It is noteworthy that Britney Spears spoke about a brief meeting with the prince back in 2002, although she said that it was just “friendly” communication.
“We exchanged emails a bit,” she said at the time.
“He had to come and see me somewhere, but nothing came of it.”
In 2002, journalists suggested that the singer was supposed to perform at a private event where Prince William was present, where they supposedly met. However, later all the speculations were refuted.
