Dubai has been named the most popular destination in the world for the third time in a row by the Tripadvisor Travelers’ Choice Awards, DailyMail reports.

The 2024 winners were selected based on the quality and quantity of traveler reviews of hotels, restaurants, and experiences in various categories around the world over 12 months from October 2022 to September 2023.

London maintains its position as the leader in Europe and third in the global rankings, behind Bali in Indonesia. The top five are completed by Hanoi (fourth place) and Rome (fifth place). According to Tripadvisor, Tokyo topped the rankings in the Trending Destinations category, which ranks the places that have attracted the most attention from travelers over the past year. In the category “Best Natural Places”, Kathmandu won the championship, and in the category “Best Cultural Destinations” Cuba stands out.
