The Anatolian news agency quoted BTA as saying that nine people were killed and 30 injured in an accident between a passenger bus and a truck in Turkey.
The accident occurred on the Istanbul-Izmir highway. The bus crashed into a truck trailer that stopped in the right row. Six passengers died on the spot, three later died at the hospital.
The victims of the accident were taken for treatment to nearby medical facilities.
A total of 50 people were on the bus, including 47 passengers.
