Recall that hot air ballooning is one of the traditional offers of the Turkish region of Cappadocia. Tours start early in the morning, at sunrise, after which tourists have the opportunity to observe the region from a bird’s eye view. In total, about 150 balls are involved.
However, the general financial crisis has also affected this traditional offer. Prices for a balloon tour have risen to 220 euros. As a result, not every tourist can afford it.
The trend has become so obvious that many organized excursion programs are being adjusted. These include observation of balloons from the ground, and virtual tours filmed from a balloon are also popular. They cost tourists only 35 lire.
