Turkish president opens new airport in Tokat

President Recep Tayyip Erdogan attended the opening ceremony of a new airport in Tokat province in northern Turkey.

The plane with the Turkish head of state on board landed at the newly built Tokat airport. The President’s liner was met with a water arch during landing.

The authorities of the region informed the head of state about the new air harbor, after which a solemn ceremony of cutting the ribbon and the official opening took place.

Vice President Fuat Oktay, Minister of Treasury and Finance Nureddin Nebati, Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Adil Karaismailoglu and other officials also attended the opening ceremony of the airport.
