The collapse of the Turkish lira is unlikely to be a determining factor for Ukrainian tourists after the decision to travel to Turkey. The representative of the Federation of Hotels of the Republic Nejip Boz told journalists about it.
According to him, the fall in the national currency has not yet affected the cost of tours. Citizens of Ukraine still buy tour packages in hryvnia, and hotel prices are pegged to the euro.

The hotelier noted that the most critical factor for travelers is the restrictions in the countries and the course of the pandemic. In this regard, it is difficult to make forecasts for the flow of tourists, but tourists from the CIS in Turkey are always at stake. “We expect that the citizens of Russia, Ukraine and Azerbaijan will continue to come to our country on vacation,” the expert explained.
However, now, due to differences in exchange rates, travelers can buy many goods and services at better prices than a few months ago. However, it is worth taking into account the fact that due to inflation, the price tag in Turkey is also growing steadily.
This position is held by experts. According to them, the fall of the lira mostly affects the domestic tourism of the republic. Most likely, the loading of the hotel will try to compensate for foreign markets, which means that next season is not excluded and special offers for tourists.
