According to TRT Haber, the Turkish national carrier Turkish Airlines has tightened requirements for passengers traveling to Latin American countries — Venezuela, Mexico, Colombia, Cuba, and Brazil.
According to the new rules, passengers without luggage, without a hotel reservation or return ticket, and passengers whose transit flight takes more than 24 hours, will not be allowed on board, despite their compliance with passport and visa requirements.
Checks for compliance with the new requirements will be carried out at the time of admission to the flight. The airline refers to the relevant requirements of the host countries.
