The Turkish airline company Turkish Airlines, which after rebranding became Türk Hava Yolları, announced the cancellation of flights to some cities in Russia, Belarus, and the territory of Ukraine. The resolution will be valid until December 31, 2022. The carrier himself made a corresponding statement.
It is about extending the ban on flights to and from the airports of such large Russian cities as Rostov-on-Don, Yekaterinburg, and Sochi. And there will be no air connection with Minsk (Belarus) and all cities of Ukraine due to the closed sky. “You can complete the procedure for making changes and refunding money for air tickets with your agent, on our website, or in our call center,” the airline explained.
Last Monday, the regime of limited flights to airports in the south and central part of Russia was extended until October 4. The airports of Anapa, Belgorod, Bryansk, Voronezh, Gelendzhik, Krasnodar, Kursk, Lipetsk, Rostov-on-Don, Simferopol, and Elista remain temporarily closed.
