Turkish Airlines announced the cancellation of about 200 flights scheduled for March 10. The carrier was forced to take this step due to adverse weather conditions in Istanbul.
It is noted that more than 70 canceled flights are international. Passengers who could not use the ticket are advised to check the status of the flight on the company’s website and receive instructions on how to proceed.
In Istanbul, a significant deterioration in the weather is expected in the next few days. Strong winds, showers, and possibly snow are forecast.
At the end of January, due to snowfall, the Istanbul airport itself completely suspended service. The air harbor was not able to receive and send aircraft. Then Turkish Airlines canceled more than 600 flights.
