Turkey’s first official spotting area for aircraft photography enthusiasts has opened at Istanbul New Airport.
In addition, it is also an observation deck from which you can watch planes landing and taking off from close range.
The area is called the Spotter Area and it opens on September 30, 2023. You can get there for free, but you need to apply in advance on the airport website.
For now, the spotting area will only be open on Saturdays from 14:00 to 17:00.
