Anadolu news agency reports that a high level of tourist flow is recorded in Antalya, a tourist province of Turkey.
Thus, since the beginning of the year, the total number of foreigners who have arrived since the beginning of the year has exceeded 8.5 million people. According to the head of the Association of Hoteliers of the Mediterranean Region of Turkey (AKTOB), Erkan Yagci, the tourist flow is approaching pre-pandemic figures: at least they already account for 90-95% of the tourist flow in 2019.
It is expected that by the end of the year Antalya will set another record in the number of tourists, significantly exceeding the pre-pandemic level – more than 12 million.
