As reported by Axios, from mid-June, a fee of $15 or more will be charged for cars entering Manhattan in New York (USA) to reduce traffic congestion.
The funds from the collection, which should amount to about $1 billion a year, are planned to be used for the development of public transport and road repair work.
Thus, passenger cars will have to pay $15 to enter Manhattan; trucks and buses, depending on the size and purpose of transportation, will have to pay from $24 to $36.
