A tourist complained about a passenger who threw back two plane seats and lay down on them and causing controversy on the network. The man shared the story of the tactless act of a fellow traveler on the Reddit platform, and the British tabloid The Sun drew attention to it.
The author of the post told the forum readers that he had a long flight ahead of him, so in order not to waste time in vain, he took his laptop with him and got down to “important work.” “After about 15 minutes into the flight, the guy sitting in front of me reclines his seat abruptly and it hits my knees very hard,” he wrote.
According to the tourist, he was very outraged by the fact that the air passenger sitting in front of him did not attach any importance to this.
“There was an empty seat next to me, so I moved to it,” he added.
However, the passenger did not stop there. He threw back the second chair and settled down across the two. “I asked him several times to lift one of the seats when I was working on a laptop, but he refused,” the author of the publication emphasized.
Users of the Reddit forum drew attention to the history of the tourist. Most of them supported him, and some even called the plane passenger a “rude person”. “The airline should set rules about when seats can be reclined, such as only at night on long flights,” one commenter said.
Other users, in turn, indicated that the tourist should have initially asked the flight attendants to deal with the situation, instead of complaining about the passenger on the forum.
“You had other options, such as informing the flight attendant, but instead you chose Reddit,” the user noted.
