From the sanitary protocols published by the Ministry of Tourism of Bulgaria, the rules for settling tourists in the country’s ski resorts have become known.
Travelers will not be asked for certificates of vaccination and PCR tests upon check-in at the hotel and use of the ski infrastructure. However, to visit restaurants, spa salons, thermal spas and other recreation areas in resorts, tourists will need to present documents that can confirm the absence of COVID-19 or vaccination against it.
As for the rules for entering Bulgaria, they have not changed. Tourists must present one of the following documents:
- Certificate of vaccination against COVID-19 in English, with the data of the passport (at least 14 days must pass from the moment the second dose is administered);
- Certificate of a negative result of a PCR test for coronavirus, made no earlier than 72 hours before entering the country in English;
- Certificate with the result of an express test for antigens, made 48 hours before entering Bulgaria.
- Certificate of coronavirus infection in English (no more than 180 days should pass from the moment of recovery).
- Children under 12 years old do not need these documents to enter Bulgaria.
