The site of the abolished Rostourism has ceased its work. “For questions related to the performance of public services and functions in the field of tourism, please contact the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation,” the message on the portal says.
Representatives of the tourism industry are concerned about access to the registers of tour operators and travel agents. They were posted on the Rostourism website, and now it turned out that market participants, as well as tourists, no longer have access to this information. On the website of the Ministry of Economic Development, to which the functions of Rostourism have passed, only orders on changes in the register of tour operators are published.
Representatives of travel agencies draw attention to the fact that access to their register is critical: “From January 1, we cannot work with tour operators if we are not included in the register of travel agents.”
