The Venetian company Simplon-Orient-Express, together with Royal Scotsman, launched its subsidiary Belmond’s Eastern & Oriental Express. Next year the legendary Orient Express will appear in Asia.
There are currently two routes in development. Both will start in Singapore and travel through Malaysia. The first – Essence of Malaysia – includes three days of travel. The program includes a day in the Pulau Payar Marine Park, Penang Island, George Town, many excursions and entertainment, as well as beautiful scenery along the way.
The second – is Wild Malaysia – with a stop in Taman Negara National Park, with workshops and master classes from local eco-organizations. Here you can try yourself as a photographer or go hiking in the jungle.
Tickets for the routes are already on sale, although they start in February and April. Prices start from 3200 euros per person. This price includes all excursions and activities, as well as a place in the apartment, daily breakfast, lunch, dinner, and drinks.
