American JetBlue flight attendant Jorge Gutierrez revealed the secret to the perfect breakfast before flying on an airplane. He shared the details in an interview with Travel + Leisure.
According to Gutierrez, the right morning meal can directly affect the well-being of air passengers. He said that he starts his day with a healthy, antioxidant-rich breakfast and tries not to eat sugar and salt to stay hydrated.
The flight attendant recommends adding avocado, broccoli, kale, or spinach to your breakfast. In addition, Gutierrez also named oatmeal with berries as an antioxidant-rich dish. It is equally important to drink water regularly during the flight. As Gutierrez notes, 250 milliliters per hour will be enough. Drinks containing caffeine can cause headaches and insomnia, while alcohol can cause severe dehydration.
