The little “secrets and tricks” of life on board the plane reveals in his “aviation materials” The Sun. On social media, flight attendants often share what annoys them the most in passengers, how to explain to a colleague where a nice – or, conversely, unpleasant passenger is sitting, and even – how crew members fart in flight.
By the way, about the latter – recall, as stated in the pages of the same publication, a New Zealand professor, increased flatulence on board – a physiological feature. And so, if to believe statements in social networks the crew tries to protect colleagues and not to spoil air in a tiny galley where stewardesses have a rest. Instead, they “let the winds in” when they pass the liner slowly, pretending to check that the luggage racks are properly closed and that the passengers are settled. Flight attendants, according to this statement, even have a special word for it – harvesting.
Also, as the flight attendant stated in Vice, sometimes the crew members “about themselves” play in a long flight in the game “whom I will be the first to save in case of emergency.” But this is a personal matter, but in order to hint at an unpleasant or, conversely, a nice passenger, there are also special codes. For example, “going to America for seven days,” according to a statement from an Australian flight attendant, “encrypts” a person in 7A.
And, of course, stewardesses do not lose the opportunity – and inform passengers through social networks that they are annoyed on board. “We don’t choose what we offer you during the service – we just come and serve you with what you have, and if you don’t, you don’t get anything,” they say. The flight attendants also emphasize that they are not responsible for delays due to weather conditions or the technical condition of the aircraft, “so please be polite to us, we feel the same inconvenience as you.”
