The International Air Transport Rating Organization has given Rome Fiumicino Airport five stars. It became the second in Europe after Munich to receive the highest rating from SKYTRAX.
The airport was recognized for the customer service improvements it has implemented over the past two years, including a new gate area in Concourse A, and improved security, seating, and shopping.
“We are especially pleased with this important recognition, which once again demonstrates the company’s efforts to create an airport of the future with greater use of innovation and new technologies, maximum environmental efficiency, reliability, safety, and convenience for our passengers,” says the airport’s CEO Marco Troncone.
