Strong winds in Southern California over the past few days have brought city traffic to a standstill and at least one hospitalization due to a fallen light pole.
According to The Sun, three people were injured when a lamppost fell at Disneyland due to a strong gust of Santa Ana winds. On November 20, one person was transported to a local hospital with serious injuries, and two others were treated at the scene.
The pole fell about 8:30 a.m. at the Anaheim theme park, police Sergeant John McClintock said. According to media reports, the pole was located in a flower bed near the Disneyland flagpole, just outside the main entrance to the park.
It is noted that the amusement park remains open to visitors and operates as usual.
