Suspension bridge with tourists collapses in Serbia

The Serbian news agency Tanjug writes that a suspension bridge across the Western Morava River has collapsed in Serbia. As a result, two people died and 11 people were injured.

The incident occurred at about 10:00 local time in the Ovcar-Kablar Gorge near the town of Chachak when a group of tourists from Bosnia and Herzegovina walked along a suspension bridge over the river. Tourists fell into the water.

About 80 rescuers are working at the scene, and ambulances have arrived.
