The Spanish hotel chain RIU has stopped serving new customers from Russia.
The ban came into force on April 13, it will apply to hotels in the UAE, the Dominican Republic, the Maldives and Sri Lanka.
At the same time, previously confirmed bookings are saved, and tourists from the Russian Federation can use the chain’s hotels. New bookings will not be accepted.
The management of the RIU network has not yet officially commented on its decision.
In addition, the company also suspended its website for users from the Russian Federation.
