Inabat Rakhimbayeva from Kazakhstan has been working for a major international airline for over a year and a half. She decided to share a little-known opportunity on board with Internet users.
“When traveling with four- or five-star airlines that provide in-flight meals, you can visit the airline’s website in advance and select the type of special meal you want when booking your ticket,” she says in the video.

According to her, many airlines offer a variety of options, such as vegan, diabetic, and low-salt and low-fat meals. Even raw vegetables, kosher items and special baby food up to two years are available on the list.
The stewardess emphasizes that special meals should be ordered at least 24 hours before departure so that the catering services have time to prepare the order.
“I recommend that vegans order this in advance as there may be a limited number of meatless items on board,” Inabat assures.
