A Russian family, who was resting in a famous 5-star all-inclusive hotel in the south of Turkey, was accused by the hotel staff of stealing things. Tourists were taken with bales of “hotel goods” during check-out.
The incident took place in the resort town of Alanya, the Turkish publication Gun Haber clarified. A Russian family of travelers was accused of theft by the hotel staff and their luggage was checked during check-out.
During the inspection of the suitcases, which the Turks accompanied with video documentation, about ten kilograms of hotel products were discovered: shampoo, soap, fabric slippers, jams, honey and marshmallows, and alcohol. It was reported that savvy tourists poured alcohol into PET bottles.
The hotel administration confiscated things and did not complain about customers in order not to spoil their reputation. At the same time, it was not specified where exactly the accident happened, as well as how the hotel staff recognized the illegal actions of travelers: did not count things during the room check, used the video surveillance system, or simply noticed the unusual behavior of tourists and their huge bags. It is also possible that other guests or hotel staff may have tipped off the suspicious activities of vacationers.
