From November, foreigners will only be able to enter Qatar with a World Cup Fan ID.
The decision does not apply to foreigners with a residence permit in Qatar and residents with a work visa.
A Fan ID in Qatar is called Hayya Сard, it can be obtained by purchasing a ticket for World Cup matches. In addition, fans need to rent accommodation in advance.
The passport entitles guests to stay in the country until January 23, 2023.
Qatar will host the World Cup from November 21 to December 18. It is expected that the first championship in the Arab world will bring together more than 1.7 million fans.
