Employees of a five-star hotel in the resort town of Antalya caught a Russian tourist trying to sneak various items out of the hotel. The Russian woman wanted to pull not only towels, but also food from the “buffet table”, with which she filled huge trunks.
The insolence and scale of the stolen property shocked the staff, the weight of the hotel property “looted” by the Russian woman was more than 30 kg.
The scam opened by accident: the maid came to collect the number, but discovered a whole packaging warehouse on the spot, reported the Turkish publication T24. In a video posted on social media, surprised hotel staff can be seen pulling out an impressive assortment of goods from the woman’s suitcases. Among them were apples, apricots and figs packed in large bags.
In addition, the Russian woman filled the bags with towels, packages of bagged tea, soft drinks and shampoo. Some of the items were neatly placed in bags, the rest were waiting for packing in the hotel room. Shocked by the scale of the activity, the hotel representatives removed supplies from the vacationer’s suitcases.
The video quickly went viral and attracted more than 2 million viewers. Some posted comments and humorous memes about the ingenuity and ambitions of this tourist: “She won’t stay hungry,” “She went on vacation well, even earned money.” And other users of social networks even offered the Russian a job as a carrier for the next vacations.
The further fate of the Russian woman is unknown. However, as a rule, in such incidents, hotel owners do not make claims against such tourists, not wanting to tarnish their reputation, but let them go home.
