Passenger Climbing Center opens at Munich Airport

Passengers are not the only ones back at one of Germany’s largest airports. An entertainment program has started in the large open-air forum at the Munich Airport Center.

After two years of absence due to the coronavirus pandemic, Munich Franz Josef Strauss International Airport is rapidly reviving and returning to normal. From Wednesday, August 9 to September 11, 2022, airport guests and passengers can test their personal abilities at a dizzying height by visiting the KristallTurm rope attraction.

This leisure and sports complex was designed and built exclusively for Munich Airport by cooperation partner KristallTurm.

With all safety measures, secured with real climbing belts, those who want to tickle their nerves can try their hand at various climbing stations. They are on three levels. The maximum height of the attraction is 15 meters and its diameter is 23 meters. There is entertainment with a DJ around the ropes course, and the Sausalitos Airport Bar is open with comfortable seating and sun loungers. The opening hours of the site are from 12:00 to 22:00.
