One of the largest Russian carriers has canceled all flights abroad. This is the official statement of the airline S7. Starting tomorrow, March 5, all flights abroad will be canceled. Tourists are offered to “return home on flights of airline partners.”
The reason was the arrest of the S7 liner in Yerevan. The lessor of the company, according to Business FM, was the Dublin leasing division of the Japanese fing band Sumitomo Mitsui. The publication also added that the Armenian authorities deny the arrest of the plane.
According to the aviation expert, only six Boeing S7s are not in danger, as they are leased from GTLK. He also added that Aeroflot is also at risk, but the national carrier has many aircraft from GTLK, Sberbank and other Russian investors.
