Norway becomes the first country in Europe to lift all entry restrictions

Since February 12, the Norwegian authorities have lifted all entry restrictions that were previously in effect due to the pandemic. This was reported in a press release from the Office of the Prime Minister of Norway.

Entry into this country is now possible under the same conditions as before the pandemic. Tourists will only need a passport with a valid visa. Vaccination certificates and tests for COVID-19 before departure and upon arrival have been cancelled. There is also no need to fill out an online questionnaire before the trip.

The Norwegian authorities said that “the coronavirus pandemic no longer poses a serious threat to the health” of citizens and the country can “return to normal daily life.”

The exception is the island of Svalbard: to get on it, you will still need tests.
