A 73-year-old passenger on a British Airways flight from London to Nice died during the flight, but no one noticed, the New York Post reports.
The fact that something was wrong with the elderly woman became clear only when the plane landed, the passengers began to take out their luggage and began to move towards the exit. All this time the pensioner sat in a chair and did not move.
People thought she was still sleeping and tried to wake her up. Noticing that the woman was not reacting at all, they called the flight attendants.
Stewards called emergency services on board. Upon examination, doctors concluded that the pensioner was dead. They tried to resuscitate her, but it did not bring results.
The preliminary cause of death of the passenger was a heart attack.
