German airline Lufthansa is canceling almost all of its flights today due to a pilot strike, BNT reports.
About 130,000 passengers and more than 800 flights via Frankfurt and Munich were affected. People were advised to travel by train or change their departure date.
Airline flights that will be operated from airports outside of Germany will be operated if their crews are there.
The strike occurred after negotiations with the company’s management regarding the conclusion of a collective agreement failed.
