The NTV channel reports that after the forced landing of the Jetstar low-cost airline at Chubu Airport (Japan) due to the danger of an explosion on board, more than 60 flights were canceled.
So, 63 flights were canceled, and four more were redirected to other airports.
The incident happened yesterday, January 7th. The Jetstar aircraft was on a flight from Tokyo (Narita) to Fukuoka when the Narita air harbor controller received a call from Germany informing them that a plastic bomb had been planted in the luggage compartment.
As a result, the plane made an emergency landing at Chubu Airport in Aichi Prefecture. There were 136 passengers and six crew members on board. Five people received minor injuries during the evacuation. The police checked the plane, but no explosives were found.
