Miraculously survived: a tourist skier filmed his fall from 15 meters

An American tourist miraculously survived after falling from a height of 15 meters. We are talking about an extreme skier: he filmed his deadly flight on video.

A video with a dangerous jump on TikTok was posted by a friend of the extreme, skier Reed O’Brien. According to him, the video was filmed on one of the ski slopes in Europe.

“This is what it looks like to accidentally fall off a 50-foot cliff… My friend sent me this and said, ‘Apparently they don’t mark rocks in Europe.’

Look at how he almost landed on a rock, if he hadn’t jumped in time, everything could have ended very badly,” wrote O’Brien.

The post caused discussion on the network: some were shocked by how the skier managed to avoid serious injuries, while others did not support the extremely risky behavior.

@icouldskithat This is what accidentally falling off a 50 foot cliff looks like… my friend sent me this and goes “apparently they dont mark cliffs in europe” LOOK how close he is to landing on the rock below, if he hadnt half-jumped it could have gone baddddddly #ski #skitok #skiing #snow #fyp #powder #skicrash #gopro #gopromax ♬ original sound – Reid O’Brien

“Lucky!”

“He could have died by hitting those rocks with his head or his back.”

“What if this rock was higher!”

Several users drew attention to the difference in safety rules in ski resorts in Europe and the United States.

“Why is there no mark on the cliff? You can use it for this,” one of the subscribers asked.

“In Europe (piste owners) are only responsible for the marked slopes. Anything outside the marked slopes is at your own risk,” another user replied to him.

“If you don’t know the area, hire a guide. Take an avalanche beacon, a shovel, and probes with you,” the commentator advised.

Other people decided to treat the video with humor – the author of the post was elegantly teased.

“Apparently, in Europe, they don’t mark rocks in any way,” but we don’t say that knives are sharp or coffee is hot,” the user joked.

The video itself is accompanied by an important reminder that “all the tricks in the video are performed by professionals.”
