A passenger on the plane died on board an EasyJet flight en route to London. Mirror writes about it.
The plane flew to London Gatwick Airport from the Cypriot island of Paphos – it is noted that many tourists were returning home from vacation on board the aircraft. The passengers’ attention was attracted by a man who fell fast asleep during the flight and did not respond to calls to wake up. Flight attendants immediately began to provide first aid to the passenger.
Crew members tried to use a defibrillator, but to no avail – the man died. The flight captain warned passengers about the incident over the speakerphone and urged them to treat the situation “with dignity”.
