“Very hot weather” with abnormally high humidity in Egypt was promised by the country’s Meteorological Department to tourists vacationing in Egypt’s resorts. According to a statement from the management, the hottest days will be Wednesday and Thursday, while overall the resorts will continue to experience very hot weather and rising humidity during the day, which will intensify the feeling of heat. In some places, even rain and fog are possible, including on the roads to Cairo and Abu Simbel, where tourists may find themselves.
For example, according to the department’s warning, the maximum temperature in Sharm el-Sheikh will reach 40 degrees. At the same time, surfaces in the sun can heat up to +60 and above. In Hurghada, the maximum is also around +41. In Luxor, tourists are simply taking a risk – +45 is promised there.
At the same time, it will “cool down” to +34-35 degrees in Sharm el-Sheikh by the weekend, but +37 is promised again next week. In Hurghada, temperatures are almost similar. The sea is warmed up to almost +30, so it is problematic to cool down in it – and, of course, tourists are warned about the highly active sun. By the way, it is also hot at night in the resorts – the thermometer will not drop below +30.
Tourists vacationing in Sharm el-Sheikh will be able to “cool off” only on excursions to Sinai when meeting the dawn on the mountain – only +16 is promised there at night.
