With the above number of flights, Istanbul Airport became the 8th busiest airport in the world and Antalya Airport ranked among the 40 busiest airports.
According to the report, Turkey ranks 6th among the countries with the highest traffic volume in Europe, with an average of 3,526 flights per day.
