Istanbul Airport entered the top ten busiest airports in the world in August. This follows from a report prepared by Official Airline Guides (OAG), the world’s leading provider of travel analytics.
Compared to the same period last year, the air harbor has risen by 9 positions – from 14th to 5th place.
Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport continues to be the world’s busiest airport.
Followed by Dubai International Airport and Fort Worth in Dallas.
In fourth place is Tokyo International Airport.
London Heathrow ranked eighth in the rankings.
Los Angeles International Airport is in ninth place, and Charles de Gaulle Airport in Paris closes the top list.
