According to the portal Detik, Indonesia will soon begin issuing “golden visas” for foreign tourists. This was stated by the Minister of Tourism of the country Sandiaga Uno.
According to him, the introduction of the “golden visa” is at the final stage and will be launched in the next few weeks. This is a visa with a stay of 5 to 10 years.
In order to receive it, foreigners must meet certain criteria, in particular, have sufficient savings. About what sum there is a speech, it is not specified yet.
The Indonesian authorities hope that such a visa will help attract “quality tourists” to the country. In addition, investors and entrepreneurs who will create new jobs in the country will be able to use the “golden visa”.
