A Southwest Airlines pilot received several obscene photos from passengers via AirDrop data transfer technology. Because of this, he almost turned the plane around. The New York Post writes about it.
According to the publication, the pilot later turned on the speakerphone and threatened to return to the airport of departure if they did not stop sending him candid shots:
“I’m going to turn this plane around and ruin your vacation. I’m going to have to call in security.”
After some time, representatives of the airline also issued a statement. They noted that the safety and well-being of customers are Southwest Airlines’ highest priority. And so the crew members do everything to prevent potential problems on board.
