A charter flight from London to Orlando was forced to make an emergency landing after it was discovered that two windows were missing in the air, the Daily Mail reports.
The Titan Airways plane, which was previously used by King Charles and British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak, took off from London Stansted Airport. The day before, this plane participated in the filming of a film.
There were 11 crew members and 9 passengers on board the liner.
After takeoff, people began to complain about the abnormal cold in the cabin and strange noise. Despite this, the plane continued to gain altitude.
Later, the on-board engineer decided to check what was going on and discovered that two windows were missing glass and a seal. There were only plastic panels in place, which were designed to prevent passengers from touching the outer glass.
When the problem was discovered, the plane had reached an altitude of four kilometers. If it had risen a little higher, everyone on board could have lost consciousness, experts say.
Fortunately, the pilots decided to immediately descend and return to the departure airport. Thanks to this, tragedy was avoided.
Investigators, having examined the plane, concluded that the glass was damaged during the filming of the film: for five hours, the rear of the board was illuminated by powerful lamps, simulating a sunrise.
