In one of the episodes of the American animated series The Simpsons, viewers discovered a prediction of the sinking of the Titan bathyscaphe near the Titanic ship. This writes the Daily Mirror.
The series was shown on screens back in 2006. According to the plot, Homer Simpson’s father took his son with him on a deep-sea expedition for treasures that are located at the wreckage of a ship lying at the bottom.
Travelers go under water in a bathyscaphe, after which they find two chests. Subsequently, Homer gets stuck in the submarine. He loses consciousness due to running out of oxygen.
“The terrible prediction of the Simpsons about the disappeared bathyscaphe,” the authors write.
Note that this is far from the first time that in the animated series “The Simpsons” fans find forecasts of a wide variety of events in the world: for example, it is alleged that back in 2000 the creators predicted the presidency of Donald Trump and the financial collapse of Greece, in 1993 – a global pandemic, in 2010 – Nobel Prize winners in 2016, and much more. Recall that a bathyscaphe (a type of submarine) with five tourists disappeared in the Atlantic on June 19. On board are British billionaire Hamish Harding, as well as one of the richest people in Pakistan, billionaire Prince’s Trust board member Shahzada Dawood and his son Suleiman. The expedition was heading to the wreckage of the legendary wreck of the Titanic.
Later, OceanGate, which owned the missing bathyscaphe, made a statement, noting that from now on the crew of the bathyscaphe is considered lost. The thing is that the wreckage was found in the search area of the ship.
