According to The Thaiger, in Thailand, a local tourist fell off a cliff 70 meters high while photographing and survived.
The incident occurred when the man was on top of the Phu Tub Berk cliff in Phetchabun province. He was traveling alone and asked another tourist to take a picture of him. When the man was looking for a suitable place for a photo, he stumbled and fell.
Rescuers were called by another traveler who witnessed the incident. Arriving at the scene, the rescuers found the victim, who, as it turned out, had no serious injuries – he only felt aches all over his body. The tourist was given first aid and sent to the hospital.
The fact that he fell into dense thickets of banana palms helped the man avoid injuries.
