In Sri Lanka, an elephant attacked a car carrying tourists from Australia. He smashed a car window with his trunk and took food from tourists.
The elephant came out onto the road at the exact moment when a car with an Australian family was passing by. He was probably attracted by the smell of food — people were just snacking on sandwiches and French fries.
Having broken the glass, the elephant began to look for food in the back seat with its trunk, and the driver advised the tourists to give him something.
The father of the family fed the animal a sandwich and still-hot French fries, after which the frightened tourists hurried to a safe distance.
