In Italy, tourists were offered an unusual cashback

In Italy, tourists were offered an unusual cashback option.

So, in the Friuli-Venezia Giulia region, located in the north-east of the country and bordering Austria and Slovenia, they decided to reimburse tourists for travel expenses if they arrive by train from anywhere in Italy and stop in the cities of Trieste, Udine, Grado or Lignano.

Guests can travel on all Trenitalia trains, from regular regional lines to Intercity and high-speed Frecce lines.

Travelers must book a minimum of two nights at a participating hotel and must arrive and depart from five designated stations. In this case, the cost of the return train ticket will be returned to them.

Additionally, as a bonus, tourists will be given a special card that gives them the right to ride public transport for free, and visit museums and local attractions with discounts.

It is specified that the special offer in the Friuli Venezia Giulia region will be valid until May 31, 2023.
