A terrible incident occurred with a young foreign tourist during her holiday at one of the Greek resorts. According to the official version of the investigation, the suspect first used laughing gas and then committed sexual violence. The suspect was detained by the police.
The man, who is currently 37 years old, was detained after a complaint from a 19-year-old tourist who contacted the police. According to The Sun, during a search in his apartment, a pistol and two ampoules of laughing gas were found. These findings may be of key importance in the criminal case against the suspect.
It should be noted that this incident is not the first in a series of terrible incidents at Greek resorts in recent months. For example, last month two British tourists were allegedly sexually assaulted in Greece in two separate attacks. One of the women, 19 years old, told police on the island of Ios that she was attacked by an unknown man on the beach in Mylopotas on August 17, between 9:00 pm and 10:30 pm.
There is also information that another British tourist was sexually assaulted in Greece by a man she met in a nightclub in the Keramikos area. According to reports, the 21-year-old traveler went with him to his house, where the attack took place. It is worth noting that three of his friends filmed what was happening with a phone camera. After a struggle, she managed to escape from the house and went to the police to report the attack.
