Security concerns are growing in Europe amid the situation in the Middle East. On Saturday, October 14, the Louvre, the Palace of Versailles and the Gare de Lyon were evacuated due to threats.
Visitors to the Louvre and the Palace of Versailles were evacuated after a bomb warning. People hurriedly left the museum to the sound of alarms.
Later, there were reports of the evacuation of the Gare de Lyon in Paris. A suspicious package was found there.

On Friday, a regime of “emergency anti-terrorism alert” was introduced in France. The authorities announced the decision to increase the threat level on October 13. French Interior Minister Gerald Darmanin said there is likely a connection between what is happening in the Middle East and the attack in Arras. Darmanen called for “the expulsion of any foreigner whom the security services consider dangerous.”
