In Antalya, market sellers were prohibited from loudly inviting customers

Antalya has introduced new measures to combat intrusive selling in markets. Now it prohibits “loud selling,” which includes calls and shouts aimed at attracting buyers.

For violating this ban, traders face a fine of 1,295 liras, which is about $50.

Police officers inspecting markets around Antalya are actively warning traders about the introduction of this new rule.

In addition, additional punishment has been introduced for those who violate this rule repeatedly. If a seller is issued 3 fines in a year, he will be prohibited from opening his stores for three weeks.

These measures are aimed at ensuring a calm atmosphere in the markets and protecting the interests of buyers by preventing intrusive selling methods.
